- Mehr zu SEO Mitte der 1990er Jahre fingen die anfänglichen Suchmaschinen im Netz an, das frühe Web zu sortieren. Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten schnell den Wert einer nahmen Listung in den Serps und recht bald entwickelten sich Unternehmen, die sich auf die Aufwertung qualifitierten. In Anfängen passierte der Antritt oft bezüglich der Transfer der URL der passenden Seite in puncto divergenten Suchmaschinen. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Untersuchung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Website auf den Web Server der Anlaufstelle, wo ein 2. Programm, der sogenannte Indexer, Infos herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu anderen Seiten). Die späten Typen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die dank der Webmaster selber gegeben werden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im Internet wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamteindruck via Content einer Seite, allerdings registrierte sich bald herab, dass die Anwendung der Ratschläge nicht gewissenhaft war, da die Wahl der verwendeten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Darstellung des Seiteninhalts reflektieren kann. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Webseiten bei speziellen Recherchieren listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller verschiedenartige Punkte innert des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu lenken, dass die Seite größer in Resultaten aufgeführt wird.[3] Da die neuzeitlichen Search Engines sehr auf Punkte dependent waren, die alleinig in Koffern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr unsicher für Delikt und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um bessere und relevantere Testurteile in Ergebnissen zu erhalten, mussten sich die Anbieter der Suchmaschinen im Netz an diese Rahmenbedingungen integrieren. Weil der Erfolg einer Recherche davon zusammenhängt, besondere Suchresultate zu den gestellten Keywords anzuzeigen, konnten unpassende Urteile zur Folge haben, dass sich die Anwender nach diversen Varianten zur Suche im Web umgucken. Die Erwiderung der Search Engines lagerbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen beim Platz, die Aspekte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur nicht leicht steuerbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin generierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Vorläufer von Google – eine Recherche, die auf einem mathematischen Algorithmus basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Webseiten gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus einfluss besitzen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
