10 injured, 3 legislation enforcement officials hurt after gunfire erupts in Charleston, S.C.

Ten people were injured, 4 critically, and three legislation enforcement officials had been hurt Monday night time after gunfire erupted in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, in response to police.

“There’s lots of weapons that had been fired. Handguns, long weapons, 223 rounds. If anyone doesn’t know what a 223 round will do, it’ll blow your leg proper off, it’ll blow your head right off your shoulders. These are the types of rounds that have been fired last night time,” Reynolds stated.

He mentioned there have been “a pair completely different teams shooting at one another typically.”

“As we stand here right now, we’re fortunate we don’t have a dead cop or useless citizen or useless group members," Reynolds stated.

The investigation is ongoing and officers are nonetheless working the scene.

Two folks were arrested stemming from the assaults on the deputies, police stated.

These suspects were recognized as Ayesha McGee and Tahira McGee, NBC affiliate of WCBD of Charleston reported, citing studies from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Workplace.
