BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after a number of signs saying "faculty shooter" have been found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Safety announced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of charges.

Hanson allegedly positioned the signs around the communities, the Division of Safety stated, but they determined there is no credible threat at this time.
The New Hampshire Department of Security is investigating signs that read 'college shooter!' which have been found in a number of communities New Hampshire Division of SecurityOne such sign was written on a paper plate. The security department released a photograph of the plate however blurred part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of criminal threatening and three misdemeanor expenses together with false report to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.
No different suspects have been charged presently.
