Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen car into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The automobile slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers said.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the road from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There have been two juveniles in the automobile. Both were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in secure situation, officials said. We don't know their exact ages.

They’re anticipated to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
