9 Shot, One Dead in San Bernardino County – NBC Los Angeles

One individual was killed and eight others were injured Friday night time when photographs were fired at a large occasion at a strip mall hookah lounge in the San Bernardino County group of Highland.

The capturing in the city east of San Bernardino was reported simply before midnight in the 3600 block of East Highland Avenue. Officers encountered a large crowd of about 100 individuals within the space for a party at a hookah lounge.

A taking pictures sufferer located outdoors died on the scene. A lady at the scene who recognized herself because the victim's grandmother said he is 20 years old.

Eight different folks had been hospitalized with what seem like non-life-threatening accidents, police said. The sheriff's department initially mentioned 10 folks were shot, but later up to date that number to 9, including the deceased sufferer.

Police are looking for two shooters in connection with the taking pictures, a supply close to the investigation instructed NBCLA. The supply stated a lot of the injured victims were caught in the crossfire and did not seem like intended targets.

Evidence markers were positioned at a nearby fuel station. Crime scene tape blocked off the intersection early Saturday close to Tha Blu Flame lounge.

The motive for the taking pictures is under investigation, police mentioned.

Highland is simply east of San Bernardino at the base of the San Bernardino Mountains.
