DALLAS - A 15-year-old lady from North Richland Hills is now house after being abducted by a man at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks sport at American Airlines Center. But the family nonetheless seeks solutions, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not acting swiftly enough relating to the crime, which had the lady as part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone missing a total of 11 days,” legal professional Zeke Fortenberry stated. “Our intent is that approach (the aforementioned organizations) are on discover that we’re pursuing claims towards them for his or her negligence and different causes of motion.''

Fortenberry said the teenager’s father knowledgeable police at the recreation when he realized she was lacking. But, in accordance with the legal professional, the father was advised to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police.

The attorney mentioned it was the Houston-based human trafficking agency Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that worked to find the missing lady, who was being held in an Oklahoma City motel.

Dallas Police told WFAA that they followed protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD within the search.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the lady was found, the crew releasing the following statement: “The American Airways Center (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been found.Each entities will continue to cooperate with native and regional legislation enforcement on this case.''
