Russian spy aircraft violates Swedish air house

A Russian reconnaissance aircraft briefly violated Sweden’s airspace on Friday, Swedish defense officials said on Saturday, as the Scandinavian nation ponders a bid for NATO membership after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“A Russian AN-30 propeller plane violated Swedish airspace on Friday evening,” the Swedish defense ministry stated in an announcement, including that its teams had adopted the incident and photographed it.
The ministry mentioned the aircraft was flying east of Bornholm, a Danish island within the Baltic, before it headed towards Swedish territory.
“It's completely unacceptable to violate Swedish airspace,” public television SVT quoted Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist as saying.
“This action is unprofessional and given the overall safety state of affairs very inappropriate. Swedish sovereignty should at all times be respected.”
