DALLAS - The excessive court will permit a wrongful death lawsuit to proceed against the town of Dallas and 4 police officers.

The family of a person who died in police custody in 2016 sued.

Tony Timpa called police for help as he had a drug and mental health crisis.

The Supreme Courtroom upheld a federal appeals court’s ruling that may enable the case to proceed.
