Man arrested in reference to “college shooter” indicators found in 3 New Hampshire communities

BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after a number of indicators saying "college shooter" had been found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security introduced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple expenses. 

An increased quantity of cops have been positioned at faculties in the communities on account of the signs. Multiple schools initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly placed the indicators around the communities, the Department of Safety mentioned, but they determined there is no credible risk presently.

One such sign was written on a paper plate. The safety division launched a photo of the plate but blurred a part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of felony threatening and three misdemeanor expenses together with false report to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and prison threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

No other suspects have been charged presently.
