Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive into a concrete safety barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the entrance across the street from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There have been two juveniles within the automotive. Both were taken to a hospital and are actually in steady situation, officers mentioned. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re expected to face expenses.

D.C. police are investigating.
