Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Close to White House: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive right into a concrete safety barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers mentioned.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the entrance across the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There have been two juveniles within the car. Both had been taken to a hospital and are actually in stable condition, officers said. We don't know their precise ages.

They’re anticipated to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
