Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Close to White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car into a concrete security barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials mentioned.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the road from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There have been two juveniles in the car. Each were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in stable condition, officers said. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re expected to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
