Speaking within the dugout of the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kapler mentioned, "I don't plan on popping out for the anthem going forward till I feel better in regards to the path of our nation."

The home of the courageous should encourage this."
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made an impassioned plea to take stronger motion against gun violence in the United States.Kerr refused to talk about basketball ahead of Recreation 4 of the Warriors' sequence in opposition to the Dallas Mavericks, as an alternative elevating his voice as he railed towards gun violence in the wake of Tuesday's taking pictures.
"Within the last 10 days, we've had aged Black individuals killed in a grocery store in Buffalo, we've had Asian churchgoers killed in Southern California, now we now have kids murdered at school," Kerr informed reporters firstly of the press convention.
"When are we going to do something? I'm tired. I am so tired of getting up right here and offering condolences to the devastated households which are on the market ... I am bored with the moments of silence. Sufficient."
