TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida man has been sentenced to life in jail for traveling to Vietnam to sexually abuse minors he met online, in keeping with officials.

The U.S. Division of Justice says Christopher Edwin Day, 52, traveled two completely different occasions in 2015 and 2016 to Vietnam from Florida to have sexual encounters with minor Vietnamese boys. Court data say he flew back and forth disguising himself as an English instructor.

Among the boys, in accordance with the DOJ, were lured with guarantees of money and items. Others launched him as their English instructor.
