10 injured, 3 legislation enforcement officials harm after gunfire erupts in Charleston, S.C.

Ten people were injured, 4 critically, and three law enforcement officers have been hurt Monday evening after gunfire erupted in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, based on police.

He said there have been “a pair completely different groups shooting at each other generally.”

“As we stand here right now, we’re lucky we don’t have a useless cop or useless citizen or lifeless group members," Reynolds mentioned.

The investigation is ongoing and officers are nonetheless working the scene.

Two individuals have been arrested stemming from the assaults on the deputies, police said.

Those suspects have been recognized as Ayesha McGee and Tahira McGee, NBC affiliate of WCBD of Charleston reported, citing experiences from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Workplace. 

Ayesha McGee was charged with third-degree assault and battery and Tahira McGee with second-degree assault and battery and resisting arrest. 

Officials said extra arrests are expected.

Officials mentioned South Avenue from Nassau Street to Drake Avenue and America Street from Reid Avenue to Mary Avenue in the area will remain closed to course of the capturing scene.
